Hey Look! Aerial Star Trek Set Visit!

Instead of reporting on the morning commute, the Good Day L.A. traffic helicopter yesterday flew over the outdoor set for J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek reboot. At first, you can just mostly see the crew (no cast) hanging out on the ice planet of Hoth (or is that the wrong sci-fi series?). But then the helicopter passes over what looks to be a rusty version of the new Enterprise sitting in front of a green screen. Apparently there’s a lot of time travel in the film, so maybe this is some alternate dilapidated version? Or is that some other kind of starship used in the film? Romulans, maybe? Or is this even really the Star Trek set? The Fox helicopter guy only “thinks” it is.

But, if it is, with the way lawsuits have been flying around Hollywood lately, I totally expect Paramount to sue Fox for a) giving away set spoilers; and b) flying a helicopter overhead while they’re trying to shoot. I’m sure the crew loves that. Watch the video below:
