After Dark’s Horror Competition

Have you ever gone to After Dark’s 8 Films to Die For movie marathons and thought, “I’ve got a better idea for a horror movie than this stupid crap?” If so, here’s your chance to be a part of next year’s 8 films.

If you go to Massify.com, you can pitch horror movie ideas and the winning pitch that becomes the basis for a movie shown during 2008’s 8 Films to Die For series will get some sort of producer’s credit. Of course just because a producer credit is a bone indie filmmakers throw to their uncle’s second cousin for donating five bucks towards a craft service box of doughnuts, doesn’t diminish the honor of winning of this credit.

You can also go to Massify to rate audition tapes, marketing strategies and other behind-the-scenes errata for the film even if you don’t win the pitch contest.
