Can’t Keep A Good Crystal Skull Down

A few days ago there was a picture leaked of one of the crystal skulls from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull that came down rapidly. (Thus we didn’t post about it.) The biggest thing about the skull was that it looked extraterrestrial in design, so there’s some thoughts that there’s an alien component to the new film that’s been rumored like crazy.

That skull came down, but what we have now is a look at a comic book cover that features the same skull very prominently in the image. And, again, it’s very alien looking. And that’s “alien” as in Close Encounters of the Third Kind, not Alien. Although, an Indy vs. Alien crossover comic would be pretty sweet. Are both still being published by Dark Horse? They need to get on that.

Anyway, that’s the thumbnail for the comic cover up above. Click it to see the alien head in it’s full glory. And the big question is: Will we see the same actual skull in the trailer in theaters on Valentine’s Day?
