Abomination: The Brown Fury

This picture of the Abomination from the Incredible Hulk toy line (via CHUD) has already been around the sites, but we’re throwing it up today anyway because we still can’t get over how crazy it looks. For those not familiar with the comic book version of the character, the Abomination is green because he was dosed with Gamma radiation just like the Hulk was.

We can understand why the movie may have wanted to change the Abomination’s skin color so that the two CGI characters on screen don’t blur together in a fight scene, like the way you couldn’t tell the Aliens from the Predator in the Requiem sequel. Still, the brown doesn’t look so good and makes us think he looks like a bulked-up version of Mr. Hanky from South Park. Can’t wait to see what the finished character will look like. Plus, it seems a little odd that there’s hardly any official imagery out from the film, nor has there even been a teaser trailer. Maybe Marvel is waiting to blow it’s total wad on Iron Man first before promoting this film. It does come out on June 13 allegedly.
